📖 Matthew 11:28 — “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

📖 Psalm 23:2–3 — “He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.”

📖 Isaiah 40:31 — “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Message + Devotional

Rest is not quitting — it is refueling. In a world that praises hustle and constant motion, many men confuse exhaustion with dedication. But Strength Within teaches that a tired man is vulnerable, and a worn-down spirit cannot lead well.

God never intended for you to operate empty.

He invites you to come to Him — not after you’ve collapsed, but while the weight is still heavy. Rest is an act of faith that says, “God, I trust You to carry what I cannot.”

Waiting on the Lord does not mean doing nothing —it means slowing your pace enough to let Him restore you.

When God restores your soul, clarity returns, strength renews, and purpose feels possible again.

Today, give yourself permission to pause. Breathe deeply. Step back. Pray. You don’t lose strength when you rest —you regain it.

Strong men know when to push. Wise men know when to stop.

Prayer

Father, I come to You carrying weight I was never meant to hold alone. Teach me to rest in Your presence without guilt or fear. Restore my strength, renew my spirit, and prepare me for what’s ahead. I trust you with my pace, my purpose, and my peace.

Amen.
