📖 Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

📖 Isaiah 61:1 — “He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted…”

📖 Matthew 9:12 — “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”

Message + Devotional

Healing is not weakness — it is bravery.

It takes courage to admit that something hurt you.

It takes strength to face memories you would rather avoid.

It takes humility to say, “I need restoration.”

Many men cope by staying busy, staying distracted, or staying emotionally guarded. But unhealed wounds do not disappear — they influence decisions, relationships, and reactions.

Psalm 147:3 reminds us that God “heals the brokenhearted. "Not the pretending hearted. Not the numb-hearted. But the brokenhearted — the honest ones.

Strength Within calls you to confront pain instead of hiding it. You don’t have to fix yourself before coming to God. He is the physician. And healing begins when you step into the light.

Courage is not pretending you’re fine. Courage is allowing God to bind up what life broke.

Today, ask yourself: What have I been avoiding that needs healing? Bring it to God. Healing is not instant — but it is possible.

Prayer

Father, give me courage to face what needs healing. Bind up the wounds I’ve tried to ignore. Restore my heart, renew my spirit, and make me whole. In Jesus Name we pray Amen.
