Faith Overcomes Doubt and Fear

Faith is constantly challenged by doubt and fear, but Jesus reminds us that even a small amount of genuine faith can work wonders.

Matthew 14:31 (NKJV), after Peter begins to sink while walking on water, Jesus says to him: "And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, 'O you of little faith, why did you doubt?’

"Even when our faith falters, Jesus is ready to rescue us. He challenges us to keep our eyes on Him rather than the storm, reminding us that faith overcomes fear.

In Matthew 17:20 (NKJV), Jesus emphasizes the power of even the smallest faith.

"So, Jesus said to them, 'Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.’

"Faith, no matter how small, has the potential to move mountains when placed in God. It is not the size of our faith that matters, but the greatness of the God in whom we place it.
